Cora Matteson
Cora Matteson is the owner of the Live Well Center and a certified Physician Assistant. She has been practicing medicine for 15 years working as an internal medicine practitioner. She received her BA in Biology from Whitworth College in Spokane, WA in 2004. She went on to receive her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from University of Colorado Anschutz medical campus in Aurora, CO in 2009. She has been a health and wellness coach for 12 years and loves helping to coach people through their health journey. Cora spends her time with her three beautiful children Grant (12), Cecilia (10) and Georgia (8) and husband Tim enjoying the outdoors camping, boating, running (half marathons), skiing, and hiking. Outside of work and family Cora tirelessly devotes her life to helping others find Christ as their savior. She returned to her high school alma mater as a leader for Columbine High School Young Life where her and her husband Tim open their home to middle schoolers and high schoolers as a place to continue their walk on their own faith journey. Cora also serves on the Young Life committee overseeing South Jeffco Young Life. She is an active member, leading women’s ministry, at her home church, Redemption Hills.
She is a Member of the NCCPA, CAPA, and active in functional medicine forums and education. She loves mentoring students and having future Physician Assistants shadow her.
Cora has a passion for helping people, this is a calling on her life; she has served the geriatric community for over 10 years and enjoys health care and helping people to heal with lifestyle change, mental, and spiritual healing. Cora was a founding member of Colorado Healthcare Providers for Freedom and participates in local government pursuing healthcare freedom for all.
